Jewish Synagogue, Mattancherry

The famous Jewish Synagogue and the Jew town, built in 1568 AD., is one of the historic places in Kerala . the great scrolls of the old testament, the copper plates in which the privilege granted by the King of Cochin are recorded and the exquisite Chineese hand painted tiles are of interest to the tourists.
