Sivarathri Manappuram is at Aluva. Sivarathri Festival at Aluva Manappuram is very popular festival in Kerala. The festivities and held in every February-March during the Malayalam month of Kumbam during the Mahasivarathri. The remembrance of Lord Shiva who consumed the deadly Kalakoodam poison to save the world is the theme of the festivities. This is a famous cultural event held every year in Kerala.
