Alappuzha (Alleppey)
This is the place from where I came from. Alleppey is the center for backwater cruises in Kerala through a network of canals which passes through the town. Alappuzha also has a long sandy beach, and is the center of the coir products of Kerala. Nehru Trophy Boat Race, snake-boat race in Kerala is held here.

Ernakulam (Cochin)
Ernakulam the commercial capital of Kerala. The word Ernakulam means 'Lord Shiva's abode' and is now the most cosmopolitan and business city of Kerala, Kochi, the queen of Arabian sea is in Ernakulam district and is a famous travel destination of Kerala with some of the finest natural beaches and the natural harbour in Kerala.
