Mata Amritanandamayi:
A girl child Sudhamani was born in Parayakadavu in the Quilon district of Kerala on 27th of September 1953. She was born to simple and pious parents Sugunanandan and Damayanthi. She became Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma or Ammachi) also known as the modern-day Incarnation of Sri Kali Ma of Hindu mythology. She does not affiliate with any religion herslef and she says, "My religion is love and service.
