‘Mission 90 days’ is a film written and directed by Major Ravi. The film is produced by Sasi Ayyanchira under the banner of Sri Uththrittathi Films. Model turned actress Tulip Joshi plays Mammootty's wife in the film. The film is shot in a single schedule and released in July 2007.

The story of the film is about Major Sivaram, a daring NSG Commando Officer in charge of the investigation of the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. Mammootty is playing the lead character of the film. He is on a mission to solve the case for which he has a deadline of just 90 days. It’s a Herculean task and he has to work day and night to grill the culprits within the given time frame. The Prime Minister appoints a high-level police team and armed national security guards with Sivaram as head have been deployed to crack the case. The film focuses on the tension and difficulties faced by him during the meantime.

The film is a realistic portrayal of events on the ground related to Rajive Ghandhis Assassination and how the investigation agencies solved the case. Mammootty plays Major Sivaraman, chief of the National Security Guards (NSG) commandos. He is assigned to assist the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Tamil Nadu Police. Mammootty aptly portrays the role of Maj. Shivaraman and carries the film on his shoulders all through. The film have less commercial aspects and more of a realistic documentary approach to the whole incident. There is no suspense or special thrills as the story of what happened is well known. Overall a good work by Maj. Ravi and Mammootty did 100% within the scope and framework set for him.
