Kerala witness 69 pc turnout

The latest revised records indicate that Kerala witnessed a higher polling turnout of 69 percent on thursday. Kerala which has 20 LS seatsĀ has over 20 million electorates and the State had a single phase elections this time. The polling by and large went peaceful. The early hours of voting showed long queues in almost all constituencies.
Thiruvananthapuram reported the least turnout with 58pc while Kannur recorded the highest with 78pc turnout. --MP
