Campaigning ends in a bitter note

On Tuesday the concluding day of the campaigning for the LS polls in Kerala, several clashes were reported among major rival parties across the State.

Activists of LDF and UDf parties are said to have clashed in Kozhikode and Vadakara were several people were said to have injured. Similar incidents were also reported in Thiruvananthapuram were police later intervened to take control of the situation.

In Malapuram protests broke open between IUML and LDF supporters. In Kottayam, a BJP candidate was injured during the angry demonstrations between the rival groups.
