Food Security Scheme: Talks fail

AJ: LDF's liaison committee meet chaired by Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan failed to meet consensus on the implementation of Food Security Scheme in the state. The implementation of Food Security Scheme will be discussed in the LDF meet to be held on May 20 and 21.Chief Minister stated that the scheme should be implemented with the coordination of various departments in the state. The meeting failed as both CPI (M) and CPI stood firm on their differences over the procedures to be adopted for implementing the schemes.
