AJ: The reunion of Suresh Gopi and Mukesh on screen. They are playing the lead roles in the movie christened Kancheepurathe Kalyanam, directed by debutant director duo of Fazil and Jayakrishnan. They are acting as brother-in-laws who run an event management company.The movie includes Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Kochu Preman. The script and dialogues are written by J Pallasseri and the story is penned by the directors themselves. M Jayachandran will set tunes to the lyrics of Gireesh Puthanchery. Ramesh Kumar is producing the film in the banner of Nanditha Mediavision.

Suresh Gopi in another cameo

AJ: Suresh Gopi will appear in a short cameo in the new film featuring Vinu Mohan in the lead. The movie titled 'Achante Makan' will be directed by debutante Gireesh and will feature Kollam Thulasi, Indrans, Manju Pillai, Kanoor Sreelatha and Spadikam George. Case against Suresh Gopi

AJ: An advocate in the Ernakulam magistrate court has demanded to take a case against Suresh Gopi for illegally wearing the police uniform in a public function.

The incident on dispute is the inauguration of the Janamaithry Suraksha Project initiated by the state police department, which was inaugurated by the star at Kadavanthra. The complainant in his complaint accuses Suresh Gopi for using the official representations even while he is in no way connected with the department and says the star is liable for the misrepresentations and can be charged under IPC 170 and Kerala police act 40. The magistrate has called upon the complainer to hear his detailed version.

Suresh Gopi's 'Boot' Shifted

AJ: Shaji Kailas's new film 'Boot' is finding a little bit difficult to reach the theatres. Producers of the film Pyramid Saimira international is planning to shift the release of the movie to the 11th January of next year. As they found it difficult to acquire the large number of theatres needed for a big release just before Christmas, and also due to the release of their another film Ajith's Billa in Kerala, Pyramid seems to have stuck up with this decision.The film earlier planned to be on theatres by the 7th of this month. The film scripted by Rajesh Jayaraman, was completed in 22 days.

Shaji Kailas- Suresh Gopi film 'Boot', shooting has completed in

a record 22 days. The film produced by Pyramid Saimira in the scripts of Rajesh Jayaraman. The film is now in the post-production stages. The synopsis given to the press largely tells about the tragic love story between Bala and Honey, and no clues are given whether Suresh Gopi is playing a cop, or not. The film features only 15 characters played by Murali Maniyanpillai Raju, Krishnakumar, Raghu, Rajan P Dev, Riza Bava, Bheeman Reghu, Biju Pappan, Lakshana and Hani Rose apart from the lead.

Suresh Gopi In Rajeev Nath's Film

One of the frontline directors of Malayalam Rajeev Nath team up with Suresh Gopi in his new film on the world classic Casablanca, titled in Malayalam as Ezhaam Mudra. The star appears in the film as a naval doctor, as Rajeev Nath plans to recreate the magic with the Tamil Tigers as the backdrop. Mandira Bedi is now approached to enact the role immortalized by Ingrid Bergman in the original.

Suresh Gopi has finally decided to produce a movie named as'Ezhaam Mudra'. The film will be directed by noted director Rajiv Naath. The film which is produced in the banner of Grass Hopper Films will also have the star in the lead. Scripted by Balu, the film will tell a story in the backdrop of Sri Lanka. Suresh is appearing in the film as a Navy Doctor, which will start its shooting by end of this month. The film which will be shoot at Colombo will have some of the sequences shot in the sets erected at Kovalam.
