Software engineer Vidya Sagar and south Indian film actress Meena will tie the nuptial knot on Sunday, 12 July . Vidyasagar is hailing from Bangaluru.The marriage will be held at Thirupathi. She made her entry to the film field in 1982 as a child artiste in the Tamil film 'Nenjangal' of Sivaji Ganesan. She became heroine in the Tamil film 'Oru puthiya kathai' in 1990. She entered Malayalam through 'Santhwanam' with Suresh Gopi. She has acted in Kanada and Telugu movies too. She has got the chance to act as heroine with almost all prominent heros of south India.

South Indian Film Actress Meena is being married to a software engineer Vidya Sagar, who hails from Bengaluru. The engagement took place at Meena's residence in Saidapet at Chennai. The function was held in a secret manner. Only her close relatives and friends Sreedevi Vijaya Kumar and Sangvi were attended. The wedding will be held on July 12 at Tirupathi and a grand reception was also planned for the couple on July 14 at Chennai. She said that the marriage was an arranged one and she would continue in the field after the marriage. Her last film released in Tamil was 'Mariathai' in which Vijayakanth was the hero. In Malayalam she is acting in 'Pattunoolunjaal' in which Manoj K.Jayan is the hero. Starting as a child artiste in Sivaji Ganesan's `Nenjangal', she has done more than 175 films in all south Indian films and had acted opposite to all superstars in the region.
