Jayaraj's 'Loud speaker will begin on June 10 at Thrissur. It is after sixteen years gap Mammootty is working in Jayaraj's film. Last film of this team was 'Johny walker'. Mammootty dons the role of Chacko who hails from a village called Thopramkudi of Idukki district. Chacko makes nuisance to people since he talks very loudly and always carries a radio with him. His nickname was Mike. In his very first appearance people felt that he was an irritating person but he was very sincere and good at heart. He reaches the city in search of Menon, a rich person. At last he finds Menon and stays with him. They became good friends. Grazy singh is the heroine. She dons the role of a nurse named Annie working with a private hospital.
Sasi Kumar, one of the prominent Journalists and founder chairman of Asianet channel and Director of Asian School of journalism makes appearance in the film. He dons the role of Menon.
Mammootty is supported by Kochin Haneefa, Bheeman Raghu, Salim Kumar, Jagathy, Augustin, Sai Kumar, Biju Menon, KPAC Lalitha, Kalpana, Saju Kodiyan and others. Guna will wield the camera. P.Y Jose has penned the story.Anil Panachooraan has penned the lyrics and Bijibal has scored the music. Sync sound mechanisn will be used for the film. Athirapalli is the another location.
