In the film `Nallavan' directed by debutant Aji John, Jaya Surya appears in three get-ups. At first an eighteen year old youngster, then as a twenty five year old man and a thirty five year old man in the third stage. Manickam Maithiili is the heroine. Important characters of this film will appear in two get-ups. The film will be a fast thriller. The story moves around Kocherukan and Malli. They loved each other. They were attendants of a rich family. Kocherukkan had a criminal back ground but Malli did not know about it and married him. Jayasurya dons the role of Kocherukan and Maithili as Malli. The director and his friend Ajith Nambiar had penned the screen play and dialogue. Manoj Pillai will wield the camera. Kaithpram and Anil Panachooraan had penned the lyrics and Mohan Sithara has scored the music. Other cast includes Sai Kumar, Salim Kumar, Biju Kuttan, Sudheesh, Prakash Paul, Jayan Cherthala and others. Palakkad and Pollachi are the locations. Shoot will begin on January 27.

Jaya Soorya has been casted in the next project of Sohan Lal. Sohan's  last film was 'Orkkuka vallapoozhum' and Thilakan did the lead in the film. For his new film Deedi Damodaran has penned the screen play. She was the script writer of  'Gulmohar'. Other casts for the film is yet to be decided.

Jaya Soorya in Joshi's 'Robin Hood' dons the role of Assistant Commissioner of police. In 'Positive' he did the role of a police officer Aniyan, who was a serious person. In Joshi's film too his character is serious one. Jaya Soorya said, he was happy to be the part of Joshi's film since 'Classmates' team like Prithwiraj, Naren are with him. Bhavana is the heroine. She dons the role of a new generation bank employee named Roopa. Samvritha Sunil is also doing an important character. The story is about a robbery in an ATM centre planned by Venkitesh Iyer. Prithwi dons the role of Iyer. Sachi-Sethu team penned the screen play.

Pooja of Saji Surendran's 'Ivar vivahitharayal' took place at Eranakulam in Anchumana Temple Auditorium. Director Viji Thampi lit the lamp. Samvritha, Bhama, Jaya Soorya, producer S.Gopa Kumar and others took part in the function. The shoot of the film will begin on February 22. The locations are Eranakulam and Pondicherry.

The story is about Vivek, after completing MBA wishes to marry. But his parents, who were Advocates,somehow parted. So there is no joint effort to make a proposal. To solve the problem, he wanted his parents to reunite. After their reunion he finds Kavya, a Radio Jockey and marries her. But now Vivek and Kavya have started to quarrel.

Under the banner of Kunchuveettil Creations S.Gopa Kumar is producing the film. Jaya Soorya, Bhama, Navya Nair and Samvritha are doing the lead. They are supported by Sai Kumar, Siddique, Devan, Nedumudi Venu, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Suresh Krishna, Anoop Menon, Rekha, Kala Ranjini, Mallika Sukumaran and others. Gireesh Puthencherry has penned the lyrics and M.Jaya Chandran has scored the music. Anil Nair will wield the camera.
