After 'Veruthe Oru Bharya' and 'Kaanakanmani', Akku Akbar has casted Jayaram in his third project . K. Gireesh Kumar has penned the screen play, story and dialogue. In the film Jayaram dons the role of a Sub Inspector Sadasivan, who was crazy in watching serials. At last the madness in watching the serials reached him suspension. His wife and only child were not interested in watching serials. But when Sadasivan got suspended from th job both became engaged in acting in serials. Here Sadasivan faces strange situations which changed his life. It is a comedy entertainer. More details are yet to come. Vipin Mohan will wield the camera. Time Arts will produce the film. Jayaram and Guinness Pakru are appearing as son and father in the film 'My Big Father' directed by Mahesh P. Sreenivasan. The film gives importance to comedy. Both father and son were running a catering service. Father Kunjumon was a specialist in making biriyani in Malappuram. He could determine the quality of Biriyani by smelling it. They went in search of a bride for the son Albi. As the father is a dwarf, the differences of height made them a laughing stock. So Albi decided to marry a girl who can understand them. Jayaram dons the role of Albi and Pakru as Kunjumon. One of the prominent distributing companies `Time Add' is producing the film. It is their first project in Malayalam. Satheesh K. Sivan and Suresh Menon had penned the screen play. Jayaram and Pakru were supported by Innocent, Jagathy, Salim Kumar nad Suraj. The heroine is not yet decided. Saji Surendran is casting Jaya Ram, Jaya Soorya and Indrajeet to do the lead in his new project 'Happy Husbands' after the success of 'Ivar Vivahidharaayaal'. They are supported by Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar and the same crew who supported Saji in his first film. Heroines are yet to be decided. It will be a comedy entertainer and reveals the important role of a husband in a successful family life. Jayaram dons the role of a Magazine Editor. He is a very truthful husband. But his wife always having doubt on him. Indrajith dons the role of a business man. He was a womaniser. But his wife blindly believed him. Jayasurya dons the role of a cameraman and Suraj as the reporter of Jayarams magazine. Krishna Poojappura has penned the screen play. Anil Nair will wield the camera. Gireesh Puthencherry and Vayalar Sarat Chandra Varma had penned the lyrics and M. Jaya Chandran has scored the music. Under the banner of Galaxy films J. Milan Jaleel is producing the film . Akku Akbar's Jayaram film 'Kaanaakanmani' began its shoot at Koottikkaanam. The family story is based on the happenings in the life of Roy, his wife Maya and daughter Anakha, who lives in an estate bungalow. Roy and Maya belong to different caste. Usually this was an issue for them to argue. But it was peripheral. Actually they loved each other and their daughter's intervention was enough to settle the problems regarding their fight. Jayaram dons the role of Roy and Maya as Padmapriya. K. Gireesh Kumar has penned the screen play. Mamootty's production-distribution company `Play House' will distribute the film. Gireesh Puthencherry has penned the lyrics and Syam Dharman has scored the music. Vipin Mohan wields the camera. After the grand success of 'Veruthe Oru Bharya', Jayaram and Akku Akbar and screen playwright Gireesh team up again for the new project 'Kaanakkanmani'. Under the banner of Anne Maria Productions, Anto Joseph is producing the film. Padma Priya is the heroine. Baby Niveditha is also doing an important role. T.V Chandran's next project is 'Purathekkulla Vazhi', based on Kakkanadan's novel `Thulavarsham'. Jaya Ram will be the hero. Under the banner of Sanghachitra, C.N Preman, Nizamudien, Salim, Rajeev and Suku are producing the film. The shoot will begin in October. The story takes place in the period of ninteen sixties but it gives the feeling of present. The locations will be at Delhi and Kuttanad. Madhu Ambat will wield the camera. K Madhu-Jayaram team's new film is progressing at Thodupuzha. Jayaram's last film with Madhu was 'Randaam Varav'. The story develops in a village background. Advocate Kaimal and Parambathu Raju were rich persons of Parvathipuram village. But their relationship was not well. The girls in the village, Maya, Bhama, Bhadra and Manikutty were friends. Maya is Kaimal's daughter. Bhama is Raju's sister. Later Bhadra was found dead in a suspicious situation. Sub Inspector Rajan reached there for the investigation and found that Raju was behind the murder. He arrested Raju. Chalai Mani, a notorious goonda arrived there and demanded SI Rajan to release Raju. Jayaram dons both the roles of SI and goonda. S.N Swami has penned the screenplay. Samvritha dons the role of Maya. Shivani as Mani Kutty who is Rajan's sister. Jagathy dons the role of Kaimal and Ganesh Kumar as Raju. Mangala dons the role of Bhadra. They were supported by Riyas Khan, Harisree Asokan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Mala Aravindan, Indrans, Chandana, Rani, Manka Mahesh and others. Venu Gopal wields the camera. Sathyan Anthikad's new project (name is yet to be finalised) is progressing at Nedumudi in Kuttanad. Jaya Ram dons the role of a cable TV franchise, Benny Chacko. His family consists of mother, grandmother and two sisters. His friends were very rich and Benny too wants to be rich. His friend, guide Sadanadan Pillai, who said the easiest way to become rich is accepting a high amount of money as dowry. But Benny rejected the idea and marries Daisy, daughter of a farmer.
Kaniha dons the role of Daisy and Nedumudi dons the role of Sadanadan Pillai. Naren is also handling an important role in the film. They are supported by Venu Nagavally, Innocent, Mamu Koya, Lakshmi Priya, Rasmi Boban, Vanitha and others. Lyrics by Vayalar Sarat Chandra Varma and music is scored by Ilairaja. AJ: This year Onam superstars are not able to bring up at least a movie for the season due to the coinciding of Ramzan days with the Onam season. Two movies of Prithviraj, 'Thalapavu' and 'Thirakatha', are releasing on the same day Sept 12. 'Thalappavu' directed by Madhupaal and 'Thirakatha' directed by Renjith. The other major releases are Jayaram's 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam', Vinoo Mohan's 'Sultan', Robin Thirumala's 'Chembada' and 'Thavalam' from Suresh Gopi are also in the final touch ups to get into theaters for Onam. AJ: Raj Babu, the director of 'Chess' and 'Kangaro' directing another film titled 'Plastic Surgery'. Jayaram and Jagathy who share the lead in the film, will appear in comic double roles all through the proceedings. The film which is plotted to be a slapstick entertainer will be scripts of Sudheesh John. Jayaram, who has recently completed his new film 'Novel' with East coast Vijayan, will be shortly into the new film by Anil 'Paarthan Kanda Paralokam'.
