Debutant director Fazil Jayakrishna is doing the film `Kanchipurathe Viseshangal', under the banner of Jyothirgamaya. Achuthan kutty and Pattarumadathil Najeeb were running an event group. C.M.Premachandran and P.M.Premachandran were their managers. Achuthankutty's sister Athira loved Najeeb and one day they got married. After this incident they became enemies. Najeeb started another event group named New friends event group.
Another character Devayani runs a textile shop at Kancheepuram. Her daughter is Meenakshi. Her marriage fixed with Saravanan. Since majority of the clients arrive in the textile shop are malayalees they planned to engage an event management group. Both the event management groups arrive the scene to manage things and story develops in a humourous way. Mukesh dons the role of Pattarumadathil Najeeb, Suresh Gopi as Achuthankutty, Jagatheesh as C.M.Premachandran, Harisree Ashokan as P.M.Premachandran and Muktha as Meenakshi. They were supported by Jagathy, Suraj Vejaramoodu, Sreejith Ravi, Manu Mohit, Ajeer, Manga Mahesh, Zeenath and others. The lyricists are Vayalar Sarat Chandra Varma and Rajeev Alungal. M.Jaya Chandran has scored the music. Sanjeev Sankar wields the camera. Soman Pallaat is the producer. Pazhani, Kancheepuram and Thiruvananthapuram are locations.
