Gopika after her marriage makes her reentry in 'Swale' (Swantham Lekhakan) directed by noted camera man P.Sukumar.  She has been casted as the heroine of Dileep in the film. Some months back she has expressed  her willingness in an interview in a channel  that she would come back if she gets a good role. Dileep dons the role of a journalist working with a small Newspaper and Innocent as Managing Editor. Salim Kumar dons the role of a press photographer. Jagathy Sree Kumar is also doing an important role. Film gives importance to humour, though it is not totally a comedy film. The producers of the film are Sukumar and Madhu Warrier.
