AJ: Mohanlal's latest flick 'Aakasha Gopuram' becomes the first Malayalam film to get released nationwide. The film released in 30 centers in kerala 8 centers in Mumbai and 4 centers in Bangalore. This international project movie based on Ibssen's classic work 'The master builder'. Mohanlal is playing as Albert Samson. Bharath Gopi, Geethu Mohandas, Sreenivasan, Manoj K Jayan, Shwetha Menon and Nithya are also in the cast. The film directed by K P Kumaran. Titanic frame John Altman gives music, art direction Sabu Syril, and camera on Santhosh Thundiyil. The film produced by Medient and Tarlac, distributed by Medient.

NAALU PENNUNGAL would be screened in the famous Jarusalem film festival which starts on July 20, 2008.
Adoor was honoured in the Cinema South film Festilval at Sedaroth in Israel in the last week of May 2008. It is a rare honour favoured by an Indian Director.

AJ: 'Naalu Pennungal', the latest film from Adoor Gopalakrishnan, will
be screened at this year's Miami International Film Festival,
beginning February 28. Adoor Gopalakrishnan will be accompanied by
Geethu Mohandas, one of the lead actors of the film and the
co-producer Martin Sebastian ,in this 25th year of the festival. The
film had got good reviews from almost all important film festivals in
the world, including Toronto, Rotterdam, London, Warsaw,
Nantes,Goa,Dubai, and Goteborg.
