Director of `Five Fingers' Sanjeevraj is directing the film 'Film Star'. Dileep and Kala Bhavan Mani are doing lead roles. The story tells about the life of a film actor Soorya Kiran. He is superstar in South India and a Malayalee. One day Nandagopan, an employee in a tile factory at Mangalore came to visit Soorya Kiran. In a way Nandagopan was rushing into the life of Soorya Kiran. The acquaintance with Nandagopan totally changed the the life of the superstar. Under the banner of Wide Screen Cinema, Akku Pattathana is producing the film. Rambha and Lakshmi Gopala Swami are the heroines. Other casts include Salim Kumar, Jagathy, Suraj, Nedumudi Venu, Kochin Haneefa and others. The shoot of the film will begin on Decamber 15. Locations are Hyderabad, Palakkad and Chennai. Shoot will be completed in one schedule. Azhakappan will wield the camera.
