Dileep and Kamal team up again for 'Aagathan' after 'Pachakkuthira' . The shoot of the film is progressing at Navanagar palace in Ootty.   Tamil super star Sathya Raj is introduced in Malayalam with an important  character. He play the role of a retired Major General Hareendra Natha Varma. Dileep dons the role of  Gautham Menon, a software Engineer. His father was Mukundan Menon, a bank employee working in Srinagar. His mother was Sujatha and sister Amritha. He lost his members of the family in a terrorist attack. During that period Major Hareendranatha Varma was on duty in Srinagar. After the incident  Gautham decided to leave Srinagar. On his way  to Bangalore he met a girl named Shreya. After the journey incidentally he met Shreya several times at Bangalore. She was an MBA student. She had  an inclination to Gautham. But he was least interested in loving her. One day Shreya took him to her house. Her father Major Hareendranatha Varma, mother and  grand mother liked Gautham. They wished Gautham to be Shreya's husband.  One day Gautham revealed a secret to Major and story turns.

Charmi dons the role of Shreya.  Zareena Wahab as her mother and Valsala Menon as her grand mother. Charmi was the heroine in Malayalam film 'Kaattu chembakam' directed by Vinayan.  Under the banner of Via Media Entertainments, Mathew Joseph and Rafi Methar are producing the film. Kamal wrote the story.  Kamal and Kalavoor Ravi Kumar wrote dialogue and screen play. Lyrics are by Kaithapram and Ouseppachan has scored the music. Ajayan Vincent is handling the camera.
