Mamootty as Marthanda Varma

After the grand success of 'Pazhassi Raja' directed by Hariharan, Mamootty is preparing to do the role of the great Marthanda Varma, another historical legend. It is a 40 crores budget project financed by a producer form Tamil film industry. There will be Tamil and Malayalam versions. It will be a Vishu release of 2012.
