Debutant director Irshad's 'Caribbeans' has begun its shoot at Thiruvananthapuram. Kalabhavan Mani appears in triple role in it as home minister and Caribbeans, who are twins. Caribbeans means rogues who come from inner part of the village and steal from city. The Caribbeans of the film has no connection with that of a city like Mumbai but they have some connections with terrorist. Mani has three heroines in the film, Swetha Menon, Sindhu Menon and Lakshmi Priya. Other casts include Sai Kumar, Jagathy, Siddique, Janardhanan and others. K.P Nambiathiri wields the camera. Story is also penned by director Irshad. Suresh Pathisseri has penned the dialogue and screen play. Under the banner of Nandana films, Nanda Kumar is producing the film. He was the producer of 'Soorya Manasam' , 'Mudra' and 'Thaniyaavarthanam'.
