Veteran actor of Malayalam cine field Padmasree Thilakan was honoured at Tagore theatre at Thiruvananthapuram in the meet of MACTA, 'Sargasangamam' on Saturday, June 27. Poet O.N.V. Kurup adorned him with a shawl and felicitated him. All the state film award winners of 2008 were also felicitated. Additional Chief Secretary K.Jaya Kumar, Minister M. Vijaya Kumar, K.P. Udhaya Bhanu, Sibi Malayil, actor-director Lal, Priyanka, Madhupal, Praveena, MACTA president Hari Kumar, General Secretary Thampi Kannanthaanam, Chalachitra academy president Dr. M. Sree Kumar and other award winners attended. In Lal's speech he said "There is a belief that the success of a film would not be possible with out the presence of super stars . The answer is the success of `2 Harihar nagar', which won the box office that too with third and fourth row actors"
