AJ: 'Parunthu' will open today at 72 centers and in major cities, the movie will be released in more than one theater and its first show is planned at Thaanoor P V S theaters on the very first minute (12.01) am today which is a record by itself. In Kozhikkode Apsara, it is planned for a 3am release and will be shown at 6 am in many other centers of the North. Mammootty is playing the role of Purushottaman, called by everyone as 'Blade' Purushu or 'Parunthu'. Scripted by T A Razzaq and directed by M. Padmakumar, the cast include Devan, Sreelatha, Sabitha, Saiju Kurup, Mamukkoya, Abu Salim, Kalyani, Lakshana and Jayan. Cinematographed by Sanjeev Shankar, Ranjan Abraham does the editing. The songs by Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma, Anil Panachooran and Kanesh Poonoor are set to music by Alex Paul. Boban is the art director and stills are by Sunil Guruvayur. The movie produced by Howly Pottoor under the banner of Dream Team.
