THE NO:1 SINGER IN INDIA IS JAYACHANDRAN

Message: The everbest singer in kerala who is the sangeethachakravarthy in malayalam songs Sree.P. Jayachandran must be given the honour "RAGACHAKRAVARTHY" just like "ABHINAYACHAKRAVARTHY" for sathyan,the famous actor. He was always the best singer who has a magical voice which is beyond everything. Why he is not honoured for the services by this singer?
He started his magic from 1968 with "manjalayil mungithorthi". He had sung several songs which are almost hits!Why he is not given the honour??

I can't identify even a single song not good by jayachandran. jacob v: The best singer in india decision is a tough job. Jayachandran had sung many many good songs.It is also clear that whatever he sings it will be good. This is not the situation of jeshudas. If yeshudas sings 20 songs 3or4 will be only good,but he has the capability and sung in many films. JAYACHANDRAN has the talent than yeshudas by his good somgs most are better than jeshudas only since his singing style is much much better(ALAPANASHAILI). Hence jayachandran is definitely better than any other singer in India.

He only has the ability to sing the songs with variety. mohanlal: i had been not at all surprised by the amount of accolades that K.J. Yesudas received, but always was surprised and saddened that P. Jayachandran the owner of the most manly and solid voice of south Indian music didn't use to get even 1/4rth of that received by KJY. But that goes for a thrashing once and for all when i see the praises being heaved on this incomparable emperor. Both kjy and pj are great singers, but 1 think for sure and 100% and every music lover would agree with me is that almost all the songs PJ has sung are gems, while kjy can never boast of even half this ratio. I heard a pj song 'mullamalar poomkinnam ' some 3 days back.infact i was hearing the song for the first time. Also at the same time i had downloaded 1 of my kjy favorite 'aalapanam'. But beleive me i kept aside 'alaapanam' and heard 'mullamalar' some 4 0r 5 times repeatedly. I rate both these sweet voices along with mohammed rafi in the category 'genius and immortal'

Joseph: It's weird how Yesudas can sing for Nazir all the way to kunjacko boben. How has his voice survived the clash of time? It's god's grace. I believe that Jayachandran is good also. He is a very versatile singer but his voice doesn't have the clarity that Yesudas does. Not only that. Jayachandran seemes to struggle (regardless whethere he is or not) in all his songs. I mean, I can see yesudas singing many of Jayachandran's songs but can you see Jayachandran singing Hari Muraliravam, Ramakadha, or Pramadavanam? I think not.

"Sangeetham" is like a "Saagaram" and i feel nobody has seen the depth, yet. Every single person is different in shape, nature and voice. If Yesudas sing like Jayachandran or like Mohd. Rafi, what will be the difference and how anyone can enjoy the difference. It is not nice to praise or curse Yesudas because he is Born as Christian, Jayachandran because he is Hindu. or Mohd. Rafi because he is Muslim. What does that mean? As for Yesudas and Jayachandran,though there is not much views regarding their religion and such things, there are a lot of rubbish things said in lot of similar forums, out of sheer blind support to the singer, that a particular person supports.i thing this is really irritating.Both Das and Jayachandran have great sweet voices that forces me to say that, i wish I could experience all of the great songs sung by each of these both singers, through both of the voices, but which can only remain as an imagination.i am sure it that would have been s a great feeling to hear a song sung by one of these thru the voice of other,which would have definitely made us previlaged to experience a great song thru a different way of sweetness.

Hello every one lets not compare Great yesudas to any one..lets say Jayachandran is versatile singer and has sweet voice..he may not have been given enuf chances also..but thres one fact..Yesudas and jayachandran started sing inf almost same time..the greatest musician of malayalam of alltime Baburaj has very less songs with jayachandran..and almost all are by yesudas..so we music lovers are greater than baburaj to rate Jaychandran above yesudas or as according to G Devrajan(the greatest living musician)" if i give ranking to singers fisrt 5 places will go to yesudas" shoud be ignored?or according to Ravindarn "the first 10 places wil be yesudas and he wil consider any one for 11 th place"..should also be ignored? lets stop this debate lets say jayachandran is great not compare him against yesudas..

Dear friends Jayachandran is a good singer, his voice is sweet and romantic he gives much feel in singing, this does not mean that he is above yesudhas. Yesudhas is a living legend. all malayalies are proud of him.he sang very good numbers in hindi also. the fomous music directors like Ravidra jain, Salil Chowdary,Usha Khanna are used his voice.he got national awards in hindi also. so his voice is enjoying every indian. let us not compare with jayachandran&ysdudas
