Tall Beautiful Trees

Kerala Forum: Kerala Travel and Tourism: Tall Beautiful Trees

By Chris King on Saturday, July 21, 2007 - 12:03 pm: Edit Post

I have a question. While in Kerala and Tamil Nadu I noticed a very large, very tall species of tree. It
has a single trunk, and large strong branches that form a huge, spreading dome. This kind of tree
is prominent by the shorelines, and stands tall by the fishnets at Fort Cochin, and all around that
harbor, towering above the rest. Does anyone know the name of this species of tree? Thank you
for your help.
