59.21 pass in higher secondary exams in 2006

The results of the Higher Secondary exams held in the State this year has witnessed a total of 59.21 percentage pass. Minister for Education Education Minister M A Baby, who announced the results here on Monday, said that a total of 3,66,523 students appeared for the exam of which 2,17,012 has passed. 36,529 students got distinction while 74,347 got first class. Forty schools in the state has emerged with 100 per cent pass in the exams.
