Sreenivasan dons the role of a blind man Kochubaby in the film `Atmakatha'. Sharbani Mukerjee dons the role of Mary. The film is directed by Premlal. Kochubaby has the ability to grasp the life and behaviour of people around him. He was working with a candle producing company. He meets Mary and became friends. Their relationship reached to marriage. A baby girl was born to the couple.
Pooja of the film was performed at D.D Villa in Ernakulam. Director Joshi lit the lamp. Sreenivasan handed over the script to director Prem Lal. Other cast includes Jagathy, Kochupreman, Munshi, Shafna, Sreelatha and others. Sameer Anthikad is the cinematographer. Kaithpram and Engandiyoor Chandrashekaran are the lyricists. Alphonse has tuned the music. Thodupizha and Peerumedu are the locations.
